Computational Formula of Energy Consumption of LED Street Lights

  LED lights are very common in our daily life, but how to calculate the energy consumption of LED street lights?

 Computational Formula of Energy Consumption of LED Street Lights

  The nightly cumulative lighting time required for LED street light is full load 7 hours (h);

  (E.g. open at 8:00 pm, close the 1-way at 11:30. Then open the 2-way at 4:30 am, close at 5:30 am)

  LED street lights need to meet the continuous lighting requirement of 5 days in rainy days (5 days plus the night before the rainy day, namely, 6 days)

  Battery = 5A × 7h × (5 +1) day = 5A × 42h = 210 AH

  Furthermore, in order to prevent battery from overcharging or over discharging, the storage battery of LED street light can typically be charged to about 90% and the discharge remaining is about 20%.

  Therefore, the 210AH uses only 70 percent power of the standard battery.
