The project adopts the contract energy management cooperation model, the investment and operation period is ten years, and the cumulative investment amount is 85.8 million yuan. The relevant person in charge of Fangchenggang Urban Management and Supervision Bureau said that after the completion of the project, the penetration rate of public lighting LED in the urban area has reached 100%, the urban road lighting quality compliance rate has reached more than 95%, and the lighting rate has reached more than 98%. The illuminance of Xiwan Avenue, Yingbin Road, Jinhuacha Avenue and other road sections increased by an average of 3 times compared with before the renovation, reaching the upper limit of the industry design standard. The power saving rate of the project renovation area reached 61%, and the theoretical annual electricity saving was about 5.99 million kwh. It not only achieves energy saving and consumption reduction, but also improves the quality of road lighting, which brings convenience to citizens' travel.

Through this upgrading and transformation, Fangchenggang City has simultaneously built an intelligent monitoring platform for urban lighting, which can realize precise positioning and intelligent management and control of a single street lamp within its jurisdiction.
