Virgin train facelift LED lamps

Virgin Trains are the largest train company in UK, the chosen Aura Light's LED lighting, mounted on Pendolino trains.

Each train carriages are installed in each Aura Light's A-LED white and blue spotlight, and is specially designed Virgin train company. The train also installed a high-efficiency, long life T8 tube, including first class and economy class cars, luggage rack and dressing room.

Virgin train company provided LED lighting intended to reach the set target of 2.5% reduction of carbon per year, this goal must be achieved in 2017.

Greg Newport Virgin trains client systems manager, said: "the installation of Aura Light LED lighting products allows us to achieve the goal on schedule new lighting products not only improve the energy efficiency of the train, lighting these lamps are also better than before.."

Aura Light fixtures replace the 2700k color temperature of only 20W low-voltage halogen and incandescent bulbs. These conventional lamps fail to provide adequate illumination, and comparison is actually quite expensive.

After replacement of the old bulb, Virgin trains not only reduce energy consumption and electricity, and also cut 75% of maintenance costs. Virgin trains also use the Aura Light of 2.6W A-LED1 downlights and 0.8W A-LED 2 blue spotlight, overall it is possible to significantly decrease energy consumption, reduce carbon emissions success.
