New Delhi metro station will use energy-efficient LED light

In the city of Noida, New Delhi, two main subway stations plan to build a modern energy saving station. The new station will fully adopt various energy saving facilities including, LED lighting, solar panels, carbon dioxide sensors and rainwater harvesting systems.

The whole project is expected to achieve lighting and power for air-conditioners with the devices using solar energy.

Delhi Metro company is currently bidding for the project, the project is expected to cost 55.26 billion rupees, and it is expected to be completed by the end of 2017.
