Hohhot Xincheng District Seismological Bureau residential area installs street lights to warm people's hearts

In recent days, as night falls, the newly installed solar street lights in the Seismological Bureau Community of Dongku Street Community, Xincheng District, Hohhot City light up on time, and the warm light pours down, illuminating the residents' way home.

The Seismological Bureau Community is an old community with backward infrastructure. For a long time, there have been no street lights on some road sections, which not only brings a lot of inconvenience to residents when traveling at night, but also poses certain safety risks. In response to this issue, the Dongku Street community attaches great importance to it. Grid members have gone deep into residential areas to conduct on-site surveys many times, visited households to understand residents’ opinions and needs, finally determined the installation plan, and installed and debugged street lights as soon as possible. Since March 16, all street lights in the Seismological Bureau community have been installed.

"In the past, this section of road was pitch dark at night, and driving visibility was very poor. But now it's better, and it's more convenient for us to travel at night." Mr. Wang, a resident of the earthquake bureau, always praises the community for doing something practical for the people when he meets everyone.

Dongku Street community staff said that bright street lights lit up in the dark night not only illuminated the residents' travel path, but also improved residents' satisfaction. The interests of the masses are no small matter.
