Guangzhous new central axis smart light pole is officially lit

On January 26, the lighting ceremony of Guangzhou’s new central axis smart light pole was successfully held in Huachenghui, Tianhe District. Leaders from the Municipal Industry and Information Technology Bureau, Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau, Transportation Bureau and relevant units in Tianhe District attended to witness the launch of the project. The project builds 621 smart light poles around the new central axis area, giving full play to the leading and supporting role of the new generation of information infrastructure represented by smart light poles in the construction of new smart cities, realizing 5G base stations, smart lighting, meteorological monitoring, transportation. There are 15 categories of comprehensive smart applications including traffic monitoring, smart security, voice broadcasting, and convenient charging. The project uses digital technologies such as 5G big data and artificial intelligence to further improve the information infrastructure and overall environmental quality of the new central axis, promote the digital transformation of municipal facilities, and contribute to the high-quality development of Guangzhou CBD.
