Guangzhou metro LED lighting energy-saving demonstration project

In July 2015, guangzhou metro line 2 three yuan to pazhou section （excluding hiu kong, red post to stand） LED energy-saving lighting demonstration project has been completed, the 14 stations of the ordinary public area lighting system were demolished 8790 sets of fluorescent lamps and lanterns, install the LED lamps and lanterns is 7527 sets, the total number of lamps and lanterns decreased by 14.4%, a festival power up to 2.45 million degrees.

From the aspects of economic benefits, at the same intensity of illumination, similar or even better lighting effect, compared with fluorescent energy-saving LED lamps and lanterns around 30%, while considering the long life LED far in excess of the fluorescent tube, a year can save a lot of maintenance costs.

From the aspects of social benefit, the LED lighting brightness even, lamps and lanterns of chimney no dark space, also won't appear glare, reduce light pollution.In addition, the LED because of its rich and pure color, easy to build a variety of atmosphere.
